यसअवधिमा राजधानीबाट प्रकाशित गोरखापत्र, नागरिक, कान्तिपुर, राजधानी, अन्नपूर्ण र नयाँपत्रिका दैनिकमा शिक्षाका विषयमा प्रकाशित भएका समाचार, लेखरचना, समाचारभित्रको विविधतालगायतका समग्र शिक्षाका विषयमा विश्लेषण गर्ने प्रयास गरिएको छ । खासगरी समाचारलाई काठमाडौँ उपत्यकाबाट विकास गरिएको या काठमाडौँभन्दा बाहिरबाट लेखिएको हो भन्ने आधारमा हेरिएको छ भने समाचारलाई नरम या कडा समाचारका आधारमा हेर्ने प्रयास गरिएको छ । साथै समाचारमा पत्रकारको नाम उल्लेख भए या नभएको आधारमा समेत समाचारलाई केलाउने विश्लेषण गर्ने प्रयास गरिएको छ ।
यसअवधिमा राष्ट्रिय दैनिकहरुले स्वतन्त्र विद्यार्थी युनियनको फागुन १४ गतेका लागि तय गरिएको निर्वाचन, शिक्षा नियमावली, उच्च शिक्षा र यसको गुणस्तर, साथै शिक्षामा न्युन लगानी, नागरिक शिक्षा, कसरी बन्न सकिएला आर्दश शिक्षक, शिक्षामा लगानी, उच्च शिक्षाका चुनौती, विद्यालय तहमा सञ्चालित पुनः निर्माण विद्यार्थी कसरी सफल बन्नेलगायतका लेखरचनालाई यसअवधिमा सञ्चार माध्यमहरुले मुख्य रुपमा पस्केका छन् । खासगरी राष्ट्रिय दैनिकमा राजधानी र नयाँ पत्रिका दैनिकले शिक्षाका लेखरचनालाई अन्य दैनिकको तुलनामा धेरै प्राथमिकता दिने गरेको अध्ययनको क्रममा पाइएको छ । लामो समयदेखिको सबैले प्रतिक्षा गरेको तर निष्कर्षमा पुग्न सकेको शिक्षानियमावली, त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालयलगायतका विभिन्न विश्वविद्यालयको नियुक्तिलगायतमा गरिएको भागवण्डा विश्वविद्यालयमा भागवण्डा र यसबाट त्रिविलाई पर्ने असरलगायतका विषयमा सम्पादकीय लेखिएको छ ।
सञ्चारमाध्यममा शिक्षाका समग्र विषयबस्तुमा धेरैजसो स्थान समाचारले लिने गरेको पाइएको छ । साथै समसामयिक विषयबस्तुका समाचार धेरै कभरेज हुने गरेको देखिन्छ । नीतिनिर्माणका विषयमा धेरैले आफनो विचार दृष्टिकोण पस्केन गरेका छन् र शिक्षामा उत्तरदायित्व जिम्मेवारीलगायतका विषयमा समेत समाचार, लेखरचना, टिप्पणी लेख्नेक्रम पछिल्लो समय बढेको अध्ययनको क्रममा पाइएको छ । शिक्षामा खोजमुलक हिसावले विषयबस्तु पस्केन क्रम त्यति धेरै देखिदैन भने शिक्षाकै विषयमा मात्र केन्द्रित रहेर अन्तरवार्ताको समेत प्रकाशित गर्ने गरिएको छैन ।
